“ First time there. Friendly Employees, good food and drinks. You have to park down the road because of construction all around.. ”
“ I recently dined at a lively Cajun pub, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious! Each dish we ordered was packed with flavor and truly captured the essence of Cajun cuisine. The spices were just right, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. However, the only downside was the wait time. Our food took longer to arrive than I would have liked, but I understood that the place was bustling with customers. It’s clear that they had a lot of patrons eager to enjoy their great offerings! Overall, I’d definitely recommend this Cajun pub for anyone in search of hearty, flavorful dishes. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times! Can't wait to go back for more! ”
“ This place was laid back and dim lighted for a nice date. The food was good. The Cajun pasta was on point. The shrimp Po boy was good also. Our server was great he even went and found out if the shrimp were deveined, which they are for anyone wondering. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. ”
“ Right now, the street in front of the store looks like something out of a Schwarzenegger movie... GET TO DAH CHAPPUH, but boot up young man or young lass ' cause the trek pays off. I had the Voodoo shrimp and I'm possessed. Look, it's tavern food, But it's damn yummy and served by kind people. I also had the Chicken Cesar salad and both made me drool like a 16 year old boy at a Madonna concert. I wanted to have the Sundae dessert, but, naaah. There was no room. My happy server was Zoey and she was professional, proficient and just a nice human. Delivers a tasty Long Island Iced Tea ”
“ The overall impression on the first visit was great! The first observation was the ability to reserve a table online in advance which our party of three took full advantage of. The hostess was very attentive when we walked in, and was quick to also acknowledge the reservation made online for a party of three. We were seated literally when the next table opened up. My son I will add, who attends ECU lives on campus which allowed us to come into town, park near his dorm, and casually walk over to the restaurant which was barely 5 minutes. The consensus all around was to try the Po Boy sandwiches and pork grinds which we did. The fried shrimp AND the cajun cheesesteak Po Boy sandwiches were tops! Get the pork grinds to with the cheese dipping sauce with a cocktail and you'll be happy with the recommendation. Keep up the great work, and special shout out to our server Courtney who was tops in her upbeat personality and attentiveness throughout the meal ”
“ Excellent Everything! I was just there today for the 1st time. It's a Tuesday about 3pm and there was about 5 other patrons. Service was excellent. The server came by many times to make sure I didn't need anything and asked how my food was. I asked if the shrimp broil was spicy and she requested the chef go light on the spice and that helped. She explained menu items perfectly and said that the kids burger was half the size of an adult portion, but that adult burger must be huge because the kids burger was bigger than the ones at McDonald's. My kid requested I cut it in 4 sections. Fries delicious, shrimp excellent, chef gave me garlic butter on the side per request and I also had the gumbo. Taste was amazing, loved everything that was in it and it was topped with rice. I sent pics to my relatives and they will certainly make a visit when in town. The music was also great! I noticed people were greeted like regulars. Such a wonderful place with wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Price was excellent as well. For all you see my bill was 25. They also have weekday specials. Tables were clean. Located walking distance of ECU central campus, Uptown. I am so full I likely won't eat dinner. Definitely worth every penny! Also, kids meals are as low as 5. Can't beat that at all! Hope they don't change anything. Great things need to stay the same ”
“ We went in late night after our plans to go to another restaurant were ruined because they closed an hour early, but I am so glad we came here instead. The pork cracklin’s were so fresh they were still popping when they came out! We ordered what I would equate to pub food, but it was delicious. Atmosphere was nothing extra, but the staff was helpful and there was live music. We’ll definitely be back. ”
“ I loved the place. Music that lets you talk with your colleagues, very warm atmosphere and delicious food!!! Draft beer is very important and the attention is super careful. I recommend it 100%. Without a doubt we will return many more times! ”
